- In an article called "The Best of the Borrowed" byJeanmarie Braddock, Children's Choir Repertoire & Standards co-chair, "Patapan" was listed with the following note: "Below is a list I’ve gathered from colleagues, previous children’s choir direc-tors, and people whose opinions I generally admire. The list is comprised of pieces my students or other director’s students wanted to sing continuously, or requested after their experience in another choral festival or ensemble. In addition, I feel all of these are of value musically...."

- Mr. Unterseher attended the premiere of his arrangement of "The Wild Mountain Thyme" at the MENC regional convention in Portland, OR. This piece was commissioned for Dr. Randel Wagner and the Eastern Washington University Symphonic Choir for this appearance.
